Introducing Abrams Elementary School: A New Era for Education in Fountain-Fort Carson School District Eight
Fountain-Fort Carson School District Eight is excited to announce the upcoming opening of Abrams Elementary School, a state-of-the-art replacement facility that promises to enhance the educational experience for its students. Scheduled to open in the fall of 2025, this new school is set to redefine learning in the community.

The new facility represents a significant investment in the education and future of the children in the Fountain-Fort Carson area.
A MODERN LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
Spanning an impressive 75,000 square feet, Abrams Elementary is designed with the future of education in mind. The facility features innovative classroom designs that prioritize functionality and the overall well-being of students. Each classroom is flooded with natural light, either through direct windows or borrowed light from adjacent spaces, creating an inviting atmosphere conducive to learning.
BEAUTIFUL SURROUNDINGS AND PLAY AREAS
Located on Fort Carson, Colorado, the school offers stunning views of Cheyenne Mountain, further enriching the learning environment. The site is thoughtfully designed with numerous playground options for students, including a separate play area featuring play structures specifically for preschool and kindergarten children. This ensures that even the youngest learners have a safe and engaging space to play and explore.
Additionally, a dedicated learning garden is located at the north end of the site, available for both student and community use. This garden will serve as a valuable resource for hands-on learning experiences and community engagement.
LOOKING AHEAD
We have the opportunity to partner with Art C. Klein on this project and appreciate the teamwork. As construction progresses and preparations for the fall 2025 opening are underway, the community eagerly anticipates the positive changes that Abrams Elementary will bring. This new facility is set to elevate the educational experience and inspire students to reach their full potential.
